Tracy Women's Forum
The Tracy Women's Forum (TWF) was conceived by Evelyn Tolbert and conducted for the first time in March 1999. In June 2002, the TWF Association became an independent nonprofit corporation. Its purpose is to educate, encourage and inspire women from all backgrounds. The event is purposely held during the month of March, National Women's History Month, as a tribute to the women of Tracy. This educational and inspirational forum has been well received by the women of Tracy and the surrounding communities.
Each year the event features dynamic professional women speakers, entertainment, trade booths, catered meals, and recognition of our generous sponsors throughout the day. Special awards are given to a number of remarkable Women of Tracy, with a video is shown in their honor highlighting their contributions to our community.
The highly successful Tenth Annual Tracy Women's Forum was held on Friday, March 14, 2008. The Tracy Women's Forum Association is looking forward to its Eleventh Annual Forum under the leadership of new officers: Elizabeth Baker, President, Jolene Saldivar, Vice-President; Shawn Kish, Secretary; and Alesia Batiste, Treasurer. The 2009 Tracy Women's Forum will be conducted on Friday, March 13th. Join us and bring your friends for another memorable event.
